Meet the Designer – Yasmin Malik

Yasmin Malik, a lifelong artist and designer based in Los Angeles, is the visionary behind YDS Design & Galley. Born in Pakistan, Yasmin brings a diverse and global perspective to her work. With a background in web design, entrepreneurship, and project management, she has helped clients elevate their digital brands and eCommerce projects.

An artist at heart, Yasmin earned her Master of Fine Arts (MFA) and has showcased her work in numerous exhibitions, including a solo painting exhibition and several group exhibitions in Islamabad, Pakistan, and Los Angeles, California. Her work is a fusion of vibrant expression and functionality, incorporating the same bold color palettes and dynamic brushstrokes from her paintings into everyday décor.

When Yasmin Isn’t Designing…

When Yasmin isn’t in the studio creating new designs, she enjoys spending time with her two adorable cats, Coco Chanel and Leo (also known as “Bhori”). Her pets provide her with inspiration, companionship, and a sense of balance in her busy life as a serial entrepreneur and project manager.
